Of being the Transporter

Ferrying two sisters around is no easy task, let me tell you that. Parents are away today off to Genting for one of their new-age seminars they're so into nowadays, and yours truly is left behind to be the delivery boy for both sisters.

It was horrendous!

At 9.00am - Carrie goes to school
At 10..30 - Carrie gets back from school
At 12 - Carrie goes to school again!
At 3.30 - I pick Carmen up from school
At 5.00 pm - I send Carmen to tuition at Bandar Utama
At 6.30 - I pick Carmen up from Tuition in Bandar Utama
At 6.45 - I pick Carrie up from school.

That leaves me with an hour and a half in between sendings. Not neough time to get some much needed sleep, and not enough time to go hang out at the nearby watering hole. Worse off is when it rains and you're stuck in one of Malaysia's famous traffic jams. Imagine spending an hour picking up two sisters!!!

So for those of you that are still ferried around by an older sibling or parent, take the time to give them a hug and say Thanks.

  • Hehehe...poor Ivan. I'll be honest and say my bro, Ed does that a lot for me when I was still in high school. Specially tuitions. Hehe. Actually...still does nowadays. Muahaha! It's not my fault we share the same car. Lol.
